Saudi Arabia's Jeddah Tower has reached a height of 430 meters, marking a significant milestone towards becoming the world's tallest building, planned to exceed 1,000 meters. Following a site visit, investor Prince Alwaleed bin Talal confirmed that construction is ongoing after a restart in 2025, following a suspension in 2018 due to financial issues. The tower will feature residential units, a luxury hotel, and office space, and is central to the Jeddah Economic City development. Completion is estimated around 2028, aiming to surpass Dubai's Burj Khalifa.
